by the way, where is a good place to get good price in binoculars?

my experience in binoculars are these:-
If too big, you will be tired, and it wont be enjoyable.
I don't mind getting small ones
High quality optics with small objective lens is still better than large lens but poor quality.

7x50, 10x50, 8x42 would be good enough.

Hi,

Is this pair of Olympus binoculars suitable for astronomy? or is the Nikon a better option?

Olympus 10x40 EXPS I
http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/1942_10x42_EXPS_I.htm

Nikon Action EX 8x40
http://www.nikon.com.sg/pagearticle.php ... X%20Series

Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
