I have a Meade 8" LX200 (from 1998 or so), and the azimuth axis gearing is somehow broken. i.e. the azimuth knob does not engage anything.
(It broke many years ago, I think not in my presence, it was man-handled by beginners I guess)
Is it possible to DIY repair? and instructions online I can look for?
Is there a service centre in Singapore?
