Are these Meade Series 4000 Super Plossl? Size is 1.25 right?

hey that's a pretty good deal... good starting kit for someone who doesn't have decent eps yet. would you consider breaking up the kit though?

What is the FOV of those eyepieces? and how much would an individual eyepiece cost? Thanks.

these are standard Plossls, so 50 - 52 degrees for all up to the 32mm, and 40 degrees for the 40mm.

this is why my longest Plossl is a 32mm (limiting factor of the 1.25" format)

Yup. you can't go wrong with Plossls. they dont have too wide a field (wider than orthos though hahaha) and the short ones have minuscule eye relief, but they are sharp, dont suffer from too many aberrations, and are cheap.
