16 May Occultation of Venus

Another good location may be West Coast Park, which faces the same direction as Labrador. There are lots of free car parking, and there is more than enough space to accomodate everyone here with their scopes.

We will be heading down to Labrador Park this evening 6:30pm with a tiny scope. I think Sarjeet plans to bring along a 'giant laser cannon'....

Vin, come to my house lor, 35th storey up, no block WNW sky. Can see the sun go down behind Bt. Timah Hill. Hopefully the sky don't kill this event. Also F1 on big screen and sound system.

Sarjeet and I were there but it rained. Unfortunately the giant laser cannon cannot zap away the clouds....
