Newbie attempt at constellation photography

Post by Gary »

Location: Singapore
Date: 14 July 2010

Camera: Canon Powershot A720IS
Original Image Resolution: 2448 x 3264
Mount: tripod, unguided
Shutter: 15 seconds
F-number: 2.8
Editing: cropping, resizing, image levels adjustment

Comments: I hate polluted skies. Tail of Scorpius was bright enough to shine through dirty window. LOL. Hope this will encourage more people who can't afford a DSLR and tracking mount to shoot the sky with their existing compact cameras. :)
