Guys,

For those going to Mersing with their cars, it seems to me that the checking over at the Singapore side is more stringent than the Msia side. When coming back, does the Singapore custom people give you problem when they see all these scope and mount look like terrorist weapons?

I am a bit apprehensive because it will be hard to explain all this scope and mount to the custom officers.

1. Declare with your Invoice w/GST (if any) with the Singapore custom before crossing over JB. Then returning won't be a problem.

Or

2. Make sure yours items looked 'used' when you are returning.
Most of the time no problem.

They are looking for illegal/dangerous stuff... Have not encountered any problems on the Singapore side.

unless you fit the profile they are looking for, normally they will leave you alone. what profile? if you have long hair, tattoos, speak hokkien, coloured hair, etc, they will take a second look.
anyway, they don't normally check singaporeans so much...
maybe they think CC run an illegal curry business with his portaball but that's all....
