sorry..i know nothing about astronomy.. recently i found a pretty bright star that can even be captured with my lousy phone camera alone in the late evening and at night. so i wonder if it's possible to be a planet?
when i used a binoculars ( i dunno the specifications), the star looks abit like an ellipse shape. but the brightness gets diminished over some time..
Welcome to Singastro! Good attempt on Venus showing the surrounding HDB buildings for contrast. Now you know something a lot of people dont - that bright "star" is actually Venus. Hope this will spark your interest in stargazing/astrophotography. Check the binoculars for any engraved numbers like 7x50. That's the specification.
