Hi,
Took this last night before the clouds roll in before midnight. Did some processing using Nebulosity. The stars seemed too greenish and a bit bloated with halos. Any advise on how to improve? Thanks.
10 5-mins subs of H-A and OIII. Combined H-A and OIII to use as the green channel. Guided with PHD, imaged through WO90 and camera is DSI Pro III mono.

Thanks for the advice. Played around with the image in Photoshop and applied some of Noel's Actions. Thought of getting more image of it tonight but too lazy to set up scope. Ha,ha. How I wish I have a permanent pier setup.

Hi,
Have a nice day.
Base on his first post, it should be 10 5-min sub of H-A and OIII. Anyway, I think he didn't use any light pollution filter as he is shooting in H-A and OIII which should not affected by light pollution.orly_andico wrote:hi christopher,
where are you imaging from? do you use a light pollution filter? what is the total exposure time (number of sub-exposures and time per exposure) that you used?
thanks..
Have a nice day.

Thanks guys for looking.
The imaging is done from my front yard in Bishan. Did not use light pollution filter, as Weixing pointed out I used HA and OIII filters. Now I am trying to get hold of a SII filter. So far the narrowband filters worked well with the nebulae. My next target will be the Andromeda Galaxy - don't know if the narrowband will help or hinder.
