How many living in Tampines? I can grab a taxi from my place(Pasir Ris) and swing around for pick ups! Taxi can only squeeze 4 adults with all the junk squashed at back. PM me contacts so we can plan the timings! Thanks!

Hi,

Bedok reservoir is still usable for astro, if you observe at the gentle slope by the hill infront of sheng shiong. It will be good if they off some of the lights along the gravel path
You mean behind sheng shiong?? Now there are full of tall bird cage hanging poles.

Anyway, I plan to set up along the running track in behind the viewing gallery, but need to discuss with NPark about the lighting first.

That's a good idea, but I plan to bring my GPDX, so not sure whether can all our stuff fit in the taxis. [smilie=confused.gif]

Will update here asap and thanks for all the support.

Have a nice day.

Yah worried about how many large cases. I have a roller bag for the C8 and extras. Tripod+mount can stand between legs.

@weixing
How many bags you bringing?? We can see how much space left...lol! If too much I can pick you up. Everything should be just nice...lol!

Hi folks,

I will not be bringing any eqpt. However, for those that are not bringing or just bringing light eqpt, but do not know how to go to the bedok reservoir obs site, we can meet up first at the Tampines bus interchange and I can lead the way there.

When the location is decided, post a google map to indicate it and also provide the bus services there.

By the way, the 7th anniversary of this forum is just around the corner, (started 11th Sep 2003?). Shouldn't we make this ob a bigger event?

Hi Weixing,

I think you have mistaken abt the position I am talking abt. It is at the foot of the hill, whereby sheng shiong is up and behind the hill. the slope is relatively gentle and is accessible by bus no.22. It is to the left of the bird watching corner
