How about going comet hunting on Oct 9th (Saturday)? Comet 103P/Hartley 2 will be near perihelion at 5-6th magnitude and should be visible to a pair of binoculars, if not the naked eyes. What's more, it's just after the new moon and will be in the general direction of the Perseus Double Cluster. If we have clear skies that night, it would be an exceedingly marvelous sight.

Hi chis,

Any locations you have in mind? I think the weather for the past few days have been good. It has started to become more dry and hot

Hi Guys, I am also in CCK, used to watch on my balcony. quite keen to go out with you to that peaceful but dark enough site to do observation!

If we go together, security and safety concern should be greatly satisfied.
