new Synta 150ED and 100ED Petzval

That 100ED Petzval sounds interesting... the NP101 for the rest of us.

(seeing as the 100ED f/9 is basically optically equivalent to the TV102)

They also are announcing a 300mm f/4 Newtonian..

Ooooooooo....... 10" CF f/4 Newt............ might just make the weight limit for my mount............. 10".....10".......

Hahaha! Unfortunately it goes against my general principles in buying new at a premium.... unless its reasonably cheap, of course :)
The Orion 10" f/4.9 OTA is USD499, so there's hope :) (Its 27lbs though and I'd rather a slightly lower res pic than shaky stars)
