CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
Inspired by Michael Covington's long article in Astronomy Jan 2011 edition and Sky&Tel's Beautiful Universe 2011 mag (comes with free full sky mosaic CD!), I took a few shots early this morning to encourage everyone not to totally give up observing the skies this month!
Canon Powershot A720IS single shots with some light photoshoping:
Doggie thru the window @ 2:30 AM (2 Dec 2010)
Seven Sistas & Auriga @ 3:15 AM (2 Dec 2010)
Poop Deck (Puppis Constellation) @ 3:50 AM (2 Dec 2010)

"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."
