HELP!observation sites in singapore for geminids meteor 2010

Issit true that as long as it is dark with clear skies, we can see the meteor showers in any part of singapore?

Yes,but try to chose a area with no street light or loddy light from surrounding houses or flat.However,sometimes someone switching a kitchen or toilet light might spoil the whole show.Thanks.
