Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

I'm trying to sell 'em on CS.
The cheap manual focus lenses are all gone, but these big-ticket items (e.g. Pentax macro lens is $700 plus) aren't moving at all. Whereas when I got my Canon macro lens (same price range) last Sunday, there were a bunch of folks queued up to get it if I didn't.
Yeah, I guess so. Nikon and Canon have really cornered the DSLR market, especially at the high end. (not counting medium format or manual focus onyl cameras, of course)
Actually the Pentax K-x and K-r (in a variety of psychedelic colors) are wildly successful and popular because they offer a lot of bang for the buck.
unfortunately, most K-x / K-r users I've seen (with the notable exception of airconvent, hehehe...) are unlikely to buy more lenses, and if they do, they buy zooms, not primes.

Yah...usual models...hehe! Nah only 3 which I worked with commercially before...who now i only use for portfolio shooting or my own stuff! They are the ones who I can call models and know their stuff. Not unlike those who call themselves models and don't know a darn thing but charge high!
@Orly
Anyway I'm in no rush. Working digitally i have always favoured the Canons for the bit depth in their files.
And I am aware that I loose metering as I am using old film lenses and no D type or G types, with DSLR's! No probs with the S3 as it is housed in a Nikon body. Besides I am not concerned with the lost of metering or the such as I always shoot manual and check Histograms. I just can't bear to part with my 105mm f2.8 macro (Great for portraits) and my 50mm f1.8. Had many offers for my 105mm but no sale!
But yeah...on CS the nikons are overpriced 2nd handed! More Canon users who are selling away their stuff...lol! Kinda shows which brands stay in hands more...lol!JK
My wife never complained about how much time, effort & money I spent on my Astronomy hobby!................suddenly I met her!!!
Nikon's have had a bad rep since the D100..lol! hence why I went with the S2 and S3 which was cheaper and yielded more megapixels then! Also the color back then was terrible with the nikon!
The current line up is way better and does digital photography darn well! But if I went commercial again I would choose a Canon mostly because of the high bit depth of their files which allow more digital imaging possibilities to work with. But if it's just general photography, heck I'll go for any brand.
Astrophoto wise the canon's are more versatile as there's more software support. But fiind a niche somewhere with any brand why fix it!
