samuel,

I reserve first. Need to try if it can fit onto my pier. If it can, I take it...but give me a good price la. $150 too steep for a used one.......(US new one is US$110)

By the way, help me to check the price of the scope I told u earlier

Ok, in layman's terms :

For us folks in the equatorial regions, if we want to take proper astro-photos with our EQ mount setups, other than having all the necessary equipment, your EQ mount must be set correctly and accurately too. Many imported EQ mounts cannot be set precisely to our low regional latitudes as the counterweight shaft will hit against the tripod legs when we try to do so. The half-pier helps us by raising the mount head so that the counterweight shaft can clear the tripod legs at low latitude settings.

Ok, noted.

And thanks for the update on the US price. So I guess the total nett price for a new one from US will come to about S$250 after you add shipping.

No, to another member who also purchased a set of drives from me at the same time.

(Vin Snr : Sorry man :( , I call you a few times between 5pm-8pm but couldn't reach you. Anyway, hope you can find another one for your own needs soon 'k ?)
