Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

You then have to take shorter exposure images and stack them or use a "deblooming" tool which is a paint brush tool ... only for cosmetics.
cool man! you imaged supernovae in Singapore??
wow! again the same question. Can you see them visually?
I think they only shine very bright for around 2-3 days and then progressively dim down over the following weeks...so you must have caught a few "new" ones?

It's a very rewarding pursuit - a chance to do something a bit more science with imaging equipment. I caught supernova 2003cg at about maxima last year (with my SAC7) and followed it for more than a month as it faded to below mag 15+. See images on the link
I had a frosting problem once ... one of the "n" problems encountered along the way.
It happened as there was too much humidity in the CCD cell ( the CCD is in a sealed section of the camera with a dessicant plug.)
I followed the manual procedure and regenerated the dessicant.
No problems ever since.
TG is using a SAC 7 and if I have it right, the CCD in that camera is not sealed in an enclosed section, thus the condensation problem.
oh...so you're saying your ST8 has a dehumidifier which removes humidity in the vicinity of the ccd chip so that condensation is not a problem on the chip right?
