CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
And may I ask a question? You live in KL and your using EQ 6 mount? How did you get your mound to reach low latitudes like Malaysia. I live in KL too. I'm really keen on purchasing a EQ mount soon

we use a half pier otherwise known as half pillar or pillar extensions to prevent the counterweights from hitting the tripod legs.
For the EQ6 they come either in matching white or black. I bought mine in UK during one of my trips. I was shown both colours and I was not sure which to buy so I bought both. Later I found out that the black is for the Atlas EQ-G and the white is for Skywatcher EQ6.

And the link of the astroshop you send me, can they deliveries to Malaysia,KL?
Yes Wei Loon is an active member of the group. Last Dec in conjunction with the exhibition of TWAN at Planetarium Negara he conducted a beginners course in astrophotography.
Planetarium Negara was kind enough to run the dome at night for newbies to practise; see here
All you need to start astrophotography is a DSLR with kit lens, a tripod and a remote shutter release and stars or/and moon.
Yes I am sure they would send to Malaysia. Just send an email to them for the cost of shipping and handling to an address in KL.
