Alright, this is for sharing of your observation experience. Or, if you are arranging gatherings, star-gazing expeditions or just want some company to go observing together, you can shout it out here.
There will be sidewalk astronomy session tonight at Toa Payoh.
Venue : Area outside Toa Payoh Public Library.
Time: From 8:30pm onwards (weather permitting)
Objects of interest : Super Moon and Saturn. If the sky is clear and I am still awake, the bunch of goodies in the Saggitarius and Scorpius area.
If you can't make it but have friends who are interested in astro and are staying around or passing by the area, do spread the word. Thanks and have super lunatic weekend.
"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."
-- John Dobson.
Did Zong join you? He's also from the Toa Payoh CSN..heh heh
Do post some pics of the event. I'm also wondering if its good to photocopy some publicity materil on singastro to give the participants.
To keep the numbers growing and sustain it in the midst of poorer sky conditions.
