CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
This was taken last evening, a 20 panel mosaic of Mare Imbrium with 2 prominent features, Sinus Iridum and Plato. This was also my first hand experience processing with the latest Registax 6, and I must say , its latest multi point registration/alignment feature is a joy to use.
Taken with Tak Mewlon 210, 3x TV Barlow & DMK41 Mono Cam

Great Mosiac. Interesting composition and texture in this shot! Like the angle and flat space. Agree with Remus...would make a great poster! Throw in some graphic text and to make it artsy!
My wife never complained about how much time, effort & money I spent on my Astronomy hobby!................suddenly I met her!!!
Here is another one captured on the same evening. This is Clavius locality. Uploaded with a larger file with higher resolution, may take a while to reveal the photo.
