********************************************

James has kindly offered to bring down his Celestron 14 inch telescope for this event.

For the first 3 telescope volunteers who can commit to bring down theirs for the event and meet the following conditions, I will reimburse their full taxi fare to and fro from their location.

1. For all types of Reflector, at least 9 inch aperture and above with any mount.
2. For any type of Refractor, at least 5 inch aperture and above with any mount.

All those who are bringing your telescope along are very welcome regardless of aperture size. But I hope you can let me know before the event in case I need to explain to the authorities if questioned. This is meant to be a fun and casual gathering so please dont feel shy to bring your telescopes and binoculars.

Saturn will be the main focus and do expect public queues behind your telescopes. Telescope volunteers can jump queue at any time to look through at other telescopes.

This event will be open to all and free of charge of course.

Feel free to ask any questions. :)

Sounds fun! I'll try to make it if I can. If I can, I'll bring my VMC200L. Don't worry about reimbursement :)

@shirox: This is suppose to be a fun event. So the more laughter your scope bring the better it is right? Hahaha. :P Your scope is also a chick magnet. So up to you. :)

@kensou: Bringing your scope later? In addition to Saturn, if the sky is clear enough, should be able to see some of the brighter star clusters which your scope will do well.

UTI 8 inch portable dob will make an appearance tonight! Here's a review:

Can someone bring a dob collimator along to double check/collimate it later? Thanks.
