6.50 pm -- More patches of hazy blue at East. West still cloudy. Leaving my house now. The next few updates will be from actual observation site.

Fantastic! Such a pity I couldn't make it down.... had a home emergency to attend to. Sigh! And I think my daughter would have loved to look through the Dob....

I am glad you enjoyed the superb view of Saturn sharp at 460x, Elton! And it's nice to meet you (:

I would have love to continue observing with you guys last night but I had to go by midnight as I need some rest... I still have work to catch up today, and more observing at Sedili tonight.

Thanks to everyone who came with or without scope!

Hope you had a great time mingling with each other and the crowd!

The library was closed yesterday because it was public holiday. Else the long queues could have extended all the way to the taxi stand and carpark. :)

Planning and looking forward to the next sidewalk session ... stay tuned. :)

Looks like we can do it at this place once a month......
Perhaps the next one after this coming election, on sunday, as most of us may not be working on monday.
