M5 & Omega Cen - Redux

Trials continue with the new toy on old targets taken in the past with the 88FD. Both were done with the same set up. Hope you like them.

Thanks Remus...still trail-ling!
If anything...my SSDSI II is coming off age and trowing up noise and it's niggles...which are normal issues with the Orion SSDSI cams.
Also me being at the 2nd floor level with street and park lamp pollution...it's not easy to go long. The tiny window between no LP and the window frame top is critical...haha!
But the cam provided a good learning curve. Now to start saving for that Mono...know any good deals??

The sig?...lol! Yeah...3x3 wahaha!

Nice ones Tim.
Glad to see so much enthusiasm in astrophotography of late. I must say the uncharacteristic clearer skies (by Singapore standards) has alot to do with it too! [smilie=cute.gif]

Thanks Airconvent.
Yes the clearer skies has alot to do with the enthusiasm! Plus with some of the best targets in and around Scorpio fast approaching midnight...makes it more worthwhile.
Being a commercial shooter once...the temptation to try AP as something new makes it all the more fun really. May not be the best of pics but the best way to document keepsakes and learn. At least with the learning I can probably justify a new better cam.
Lastly and obviously, hoping to spur more here who wish to head down this route...that even with SG skies...it is possible! We may not get the exclusive targets, but we can capture some nifty ones to say we DO have good skies!

Hope to bring you more!
