EPPS will continue to celebrate achievements in Science and arouse interest in Science amongst the pupils by holding the annual Astro Night since 2009.

Date: Thu, 27.5.2011 (last day of school term)
Time: 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Venue: Elias Park Primary School (5min from White Sand MRT)

Activites:
- Viewing of SATURN via telescopes
- A Science quiz to test your knowledge
- Viewing of exhibits on Science
- Chemistry-based activties
- Cheering competition
- Talk on Astronomy

A big Thank You! to those who had help out.

I'm requesting volunteers for the following :-

1. Volunteers with 5-8” tracking scope for SATURN observation
2. Conduct 60 min Astro Talk on any interesting topics

(apologize, volunteers will have to make their own logistics arrangement)

I still need some help to man either the Meade 12" LX200 or the Meade LS-6 w/LCD monitor from 6pm to 9pm on Fri 27/5/11.

Thanks to those who had responded.

Managed to get some help from a JC Astro Club and will setup a 6", 8" & a 12".

The Astro Talk is cancelled due to unavailability of speakers.

Should anyone still interested to give an Astro Theme talk this Friday 7.30-8.30pm please do contact me.
