Hi guys,
Just thought if anyone needs this information to connect your QHY5 as a guider cam to a PHD on a Windows 7 64bit home.
Found this info from Stargazer lounge and tested awhile ago,
it works.
http://stargazerslounge.com/equipment-h ... ivers.html
However, the drivers MUST start with nothing and installed in the following sequence:
a. ASCOM Platform
b. QHY5 system Drivers
c. QHY5 ASCOM Driver
d. QHY5 ASCOM Driver Patch
e. PHD
Drivers and PHD programs can be found in the links:
http://ascom-standards.org/ - For Ascom flatform
http://qhyccd.com/download.html - For drivers and Ascom drivers
http://qhyccd.com/ccdbbs/index.php?topic=2834.0 - Ascom driver patch
http://www.stark-labs.com/phdguiding.html - PHD program
Took me a couple of night pulling hair situations to get this work.
Hope it will help anyone who needs this information.
Regards,
Elton (shirox)
QHY5 /PHD / Windows 7 64bit home
