thanks goodness I lost interest in soccer after singapore pulled out of the Malaysia Cup (those were the days before talented footballers were too pre-occupied with marrying singers and endorsing Pepsi).

Imagine a super duper clear night during a critical match ...
decision ? watch the game and let the great night pass? or record the game and come back to watch after star gazing but what the heck...what's the point in watching if its not "live", right??

Indeed, was surprise when greece was leading portugal with 2 goals to nil.... lucky portugal shoot in 1 goal to save their faces.. final score Portugal 1 Greece 2. Spain was also only lucky to score that 1 goal against Russia.... final score Spain 1 Russia 0. Matches tonight are Switzerland VS Croatia at 2356HRS and the big match of the day, France VS England at 0245HRS... need to sleep early so that can stay up later for this match again......
