Spotted what appeared to be some sort of rug suspended on the tree just outside my window. Could not see it clearly even with my camera plus 250mm lens. So I switched to my Meade 105mm Mak instead and whoa! Its actually a beehive. I could see the hive was totally covered in bees. Switched to my 4mm Celestron eyepiece but the image was quite dim. In the end, decided the best was to use my Radian 14mm. It presented the best view (as the Chinese saying goes, 1 cent of money, 1 cent of quality)!
This is the first time I used my telescope on non-astro objects..haha.
Wondering if I should call the town council to remove it. Its perched several stories up so it should not be able to bother anyone plus the bees probably pollinated my fruit plant because it had 1 fruit, so they are doing nature's work.
