Losmandy's New Mount - StarLapse

Post by rcj »

Didn't hear it wrongly! Finally Losmandy has moved with the rest and coming out with more products.....this for one is the Star Lapse, a GM8-like mount without the declination portion. Meant for camera-lens application in portable field trips....more info here:

Nice. Cheaper than the Sky-Memo, Sky Patrol, or Astro-Trac. Big capacity. No autoguider input though. And big.

Does not look as sleek or as compact as the Astro-trac. But, hey, it's a Losmandy!

I may just give it a try!
