No la...this is a fairly common eyepiece...
I won't go to China's jungle, pull one eyepiece out from their forest and show it here la. Neither will I go to the museum and pull out the eyepiece that Galileo uses.
Maybe not so common here but it's an eyepiece you guys should know.

I doubt it. VinSnr is too discerning to buy one like that. Besides, even a generic plossl looks better than that :-)
My second guess is a simple collimation eyepiece, seeing he just got a newt.
