Orion Nebula M42 from Punggai

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Orion Nebula M42 from Punggai

Post by shirox »

On friday night, it was a treat to everyone who was there and during that short period of time, it was said to be one of the best nights for Punggai.
I have taken some data of this famous nebula and instead of directly posting the processing photos,
i thought it might be interesting to post different exposures of the image as taken, unprocessed.

Images taken with:
GM8, FSQ85EDX, EOS500D (modded and cooled), guided with mini borg and qhy5

Will post the final image after processing after I have recovered from my ZZZZZZ sickness lol
