@ Clifford: You got sharp eyes, that's a post processing artifact. I was fighting differential flexure the whole night between the guide scope and main imaging ota. My 'poor man's' astrograph still need some sorting. You can see from the 8min raw sub-image below, the stars are oval. Did some star-rounding processing with PS, that may caused the streak you had highlighted.
@Andrew: Hazy sky caused the poor contrast, again you can see the as-shot sub above, it has very poor s/n ratio. Only with stacking several subs in order to boost the contrast on the finished image.
About the Mach 1, waited almost 2 years for it, but up till recently, AP has speed up their mounts production, the wait is within monts now not years, how I wish they can do the same for their scopes. It may cost an arm and a leg, but to a serious imager, this is worth every penny!It works flawlessly right out of the box, period. I wouldn't dare said so for most of my other astro gears.
