Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!
Hi,
Wow.. A little bit unfair... I think only those who like to "play" with telescope, make their own telescope optics or "supercharge" their telescope will come across this eyepiece.
Anyway, did you use this eyepiece to check your 8" Newtonian original optics?? How good is it... or how bad is it..
Have a nice day.

Chaaaay! Unfair! This is not an eyepiece! According to the site, it is "eyepiece-like device". Ha! VinSnr cheated on this one. :-)
Anyway, I understand that this method of testing is fairly crude. Any optic that does not produce parallel lines is very bad. A better way of testing mirrors is the Focault tester:

This is found near the bottom of the page "Mir-O-Test".

wei....a ronchi eyepiece is still an eyepiece what....
Yeah, using this is fairly crude. But it's a rough gauge and a quick tester.
Just don't use this and pop into everybody's scope during a star party and then comment how undercorrect or overcorrect his scope is. That's the best way to make enemies....hehehe
