iOptron MiniTower Pro

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Eeks... [smilie=confused.gif]

From andyleem's pictures now it looks like the usual gem when in EQ mode.

So the shorten/lengthen tripod legs won't work. it needs to lie on it side and raised by the imaging location latitude.

Agree with orly_andico looks unstable for our part of the world. Certainly will not use with a C8 let alone a C11. :)

Cheers

Only after the turbocharging by trapezium telescopes can it work in EQ mode reliably. The weight is supported by one of the legs that is in that direction, so its pretty ok.

Have loaded my 8" SCT on it and its rock stable. Will try to do some astropics when the weather permits.

Hi ,

I am also interested in the Ioptron Minotwer Pro. Is it able to carry a C11 stably? This article below says it can.
Appreciate if I can get some opinions. Thanks.
