I have the 160 version. It holds:
1. 8" SCT
2. 4" refractor
3. 5" MCT
4. 80mm finder scope
5. Collection of large eyepieces, diagonals, photo-related stuff.

If ou have any less scopes it will do well to hold your camera stuff s well :)

Hi Gary,

I will post pics later.
I experimented with an 8 W wardrob heater (purchased from CK Tang, before going into De-humidifier option. For some reason , the RH did not go down below 60 %. Then I got a doubt whether the right way is to bring down the RH or to bring down the Absolute Humidity (The actual water content per unit wt of air).
At least with De-humidifier you can see the result of the effort , as condensate. It produces nearly a glass of water in three to four days.!!!!

Fungus grows best at about 25~30 degC (some report said 70~90 degF), 60%RH and above and in dark environment. Too hot, too cold, too dry or too bright for it, it can't grow. However, there are variants that can grow in extreme environment, but not the typical mold found on the glass.

Clifford,

Where did you purchase the replacement module?
Do they have modules available for all Digicabi models?

Sam

arggg...should have asked you earlier. The unit was still in excellent condition! It disappeared within 2 hrs after I placed it next to the rubbish bin!
Thanks for letting me know Clifford. Mine was an Akarui. $100 for the module definitely cheaper than the almost $300 I spent on the new one.!
Gary wrote: Hi Richard. Just curious. How long did yours lasted?
Gary : Not sure how long it lasted. I got it second hand from a forummer here and had been using it for a few years already. I am guessing it may have lasted about 9-10 years. It was very spacious. That's because it had no drawers and the shelf goes all the way to the wall of the cabinet, making it very space efficient.
The Digicabi one I have now has alot of space on the side wasted due to the drawer slider.

1. Sponge beading for sealing cabinet doors.

2. Storage cabinet showing De-Humidifier and heater rod (Not for using together).

@kochu - Thanks for the making the effort to take the photos and sharing it here. Appreciate it. Saw something similar at Daiso outlets.

Anyone know where to get a cheap RH meter? Either Analog or Digital ones will do, but have to be sufficiently accurate. The one on my dry box is suspiciously inaccurate...

Hi Sam,
How do you define as "cheap"? I bought one for $40+ because I could not find others at the time but I have seen it being sold at the usual DIY shops for under $30. :)
