15 inch dob observing at Science Centre tonight 10 Feb

looks like fine weather tonight...! (finger crossed)

so we are heading over to the Science Centre Observatory grounds this evening.

will be starting earlier at about 7.00pm-7.30pm to observe Jupiter at high power with the 15" dob

so if anyone is interested, do join us there!

Good to hear from you Gary!

On Weds night 8 Feb 2012, the 15" dob was at Admiralty Gardens. Jinpeng, Sam and the rest had a good look at Jupiter though the sky condition was not optimal.

Tonight's sky seems more promising, and I will be testing/comparing some planetary eyepieces as well...Zeiss Abbe Ortho etc, so hopefully we get to observe more planetary details.

Good stuff! Aiyah go agastro session never tell us earlier. haha. My friend went there and couldn't find you guys.

Do try Uranus and let us know how it looks like in your dob.

Mars was great last night.

Tonight I cant make it unfortunately. Have something on. Will try observe Jewel Box again later tonight when I am back if I still have some energy left.
