Impressive and do share those spendid view when SM 90 double stack arrive---one thing---do keep the BF in a real moisture tight environment to prevent DREAD RUST.For your type of photography,I think you will be dealing with the BF30--each costing over a thousand sing!!.Also do fight for your 5 years warranty if possible.
As for me I actually pick up astronomy as a hobby at 10 yrs old and after quite a long journey,took up solar obing in around 1979 using my own 'self made' solar telescope--a 40mm refractor with a plano-convex thin objective and EP of various 0.965 EP;from Hm 4mm to huygenian 20mm(still kept as a museum piece);initially using stacked black eyeglass lens and ultimately a 'sun' filter improved.That goes for about 10 years until early 80's when I acquire my first thousand oak white light solar filter.The rest is history.
I actually indulge in making and 'improving' the various solar scope(including a continuum solar;a double stacked Ha,a thousand oak 0.9A converted to f/5,and a SM90) I bought as its a real challenging task but I dont encourage anyone to do it for its dangerous.Just for your info;in spite of years of experiences;I actually burn out not less than two cameras---I use the camera to test see the image,not my eye---and so pls dont do it unless you KNOW,UNDERSTAND what you are doing.Thanks.

Hi Superiorstream,

Thanks for your reminder about keeping the blocking filter in a dry place. The SM90 that I am getting is a used one. Hence there will be no warranty left. Yes, I will post photos when I get it to work
