Re: Unedited Solar Images from Jan 2012 onwards
Today's Sun 19 May 12 at 08:30 am
Sunspot 1476 has gone to the dark side after unleasing a CME earlier in the week. There are several sunspots 1482, 1484 and 1479 all near the middle of the disk, but they don't seem to be a threat .... Enjoy

P.S. I will be out of town for a week. Will catch up after I'm back

Previously I thought that it is a good idea for my solar images to compliment Chia's pictures. Upon a friendly advice, I have decided to remove my solar images and post it under a new thread. Thanks for your patience with me
And I need to sort out the image not showing problem.

Re: Unedited Solar Images from Jan 2012 onwards
Hi,All
Thanks Gary for the upload.Due to the crushing of my 2 fundamental workhorse XP computers, substantial loss of photos etc incurred, hence didnt
pose for some time--now on my last XP computer. My vista computer didnt work well--nasty and shit experience--;so I may have to post in broken segment or pose and edit on my kids' computer.
Now for the photos--Observe these two floating prominences in almost succession.Notices that these usually occur during the minimum of the minicycle.
These are very interesting prominences as they float there for 3 hrs to 1 day with size bigger than our earth.!!If we can do that, then a nuclear
fusion plant become possible and our energy problem totally resolved.
By the way, we are at the end of the 5th minicycle--obs from previous trend--and the next active cycle will start around late July or starting Aug.It should
be one with a bang and lots of showing.Meanwhile, enjoy the show.Thanks.
