Hmm, but if it can function in Alt Az mode, it should be fine for low alt application...

To make it work, most likely will need a wedge or a angled pier to reach 1 degree of singapore.

there's a long LONG thread on CN about the LX800 booboos.

apparently meade has recalled ALL of them for both mechanical and firmware fixes.

like i said when this thread originally started... meade doesn't have a good record, and this proves it.

not to mention the LX800 mount costs as much as a Mach1 [smilie=beaten.gif]
