Object details:

The Lagoon Nebula is a giant interstellar cloud in the constellation Sagittarius. Also known as

Hourglass nebula,which is 3 x 1 1/3 the apparent diameter of the full moon, and corresponds to about

140x60 light years in size.One of the remarkable features of the Lagoon Nebula is the presence of dark

nebulae known as 'globules'

Magnitude: 6.0

Angular Size: 90' x 40 '.

Location /Date/Time: Sedili Besar, June 24 , 2012, 0300-0530 hrs
Mount/Scope/Reducer/Mount control: SW EQ6 Pro/SharpStar 107PH,F6.5/ 695 mm FL/ Triplet/ EQDir/CDC

Guider: WO 66 ED@FL 396 mm /DSI Pro/PHD/ Pulse Guide thru EQDir.
Camera : QSI 583 WS @ Minus 10 Deg C.
Filters: Astrodon Gen II LRGB.

Image details: LRGB: 10 x 200Sec L+6 x200 sec RGBeach/ Captured using Maxim DL 5.18.. Total 95minutes

Processing Details: Maxim DL 5.18/Adobe CS4 ,Darks only.

I have taken about 25 minutes of Ha also. Did not get time to combine it.. May be later..

Gorgeous and full of detail, I personally like the distinct wisps closer to the top left
