Copy that rcj your information is critical!

Hopefully I will see you guys there and the stargaze forecast is thus far excellent!
I went to Desaru last week and it was kind of disappointing with tons of light polution from the Lotus Desaru Resort.
Anyway good luck and get some supreme images! Good luck!

No problem Jim. You may call me at 82three33seven9 8 if u need help finding the location on that day. The site will definitely be darker than in Desaru, and more rustic. The GPS location is basically the same coordinates that my friend Gavin (starfinder) has given in the other thread.

I double checked starfinder's GPS coordinates on Google Earth.. It narrowed down to an inland road (J182) further north of the Srikandi Resort.

I believe the resort is just right next to the beach right?

Jim,

Yes, both the Teluk Sari fields and chalets are located right next to the beach shoreline. If you have an email address, I can send the detailed driving instructions to the site.

no problem Orly. Not sure about selling the G11 yet. Maybe not used to GOTO.

Latest Trip Update: Minibus is full. However, if you have transport and do feel like joining us, there are still accommodation units available. It is the Hari Raya period, so certain meals will not be prepared (Monday breakfast), but I will cook. :-)

We will be departing evening of Friday, so for those driving and meeting us at 745PM Kranji MRT Station (bus stop area infront of station), it will be good if we stay as a convoy group. Feel free to call me if u are trailing behind too far.

From the looks of it, most will be doing imaging, hopefully the skies will last this trip for the few nights up, good time to see Orion once again in the morning.

See you soon!

we will have 2 coils of 50 meters extension cord that has 3 powerpoint each.
Me, Kelvin and Remus will likely to be using 1 coil while the other as a spare. If you are imaging you might wanna cater for a extension gang and it can only support another 3 imager, for others you might wanna bring along an extra coil. :)
