Camping Table or similar...

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Camping Table or similar...

Post by orly_andico »

Last time I was in Sedili one of the guys there had this really neat table that was composed of plastic panels reinforced with metal rods.

He had enough space on the thing for a laptop and lots of other stuff. Plus, I suspect the thing collapses down to a flat pack maybe 4" thick (plus the metal rods).

Where can I find such a thing? my google searches are turning up nothing. Or should I just go hang out at Giant?

I don't think that's the one. The tablemate is being offered on Groupon right now really cheap (S$22). It's too small - just space for a laptop.

I'm going to Giant to look at cheap plastic furniture. [smilie=admire.gif]

Hi Orly,

I think I have bought the picnic table-chair setup with the same description before, but a bloke about 80kg broke one of the chairs while seating on it. It can be found in Carrefour, and perhaps Giant. Price-wise about $40 was what I paid. Got to be careful when seating down (gentle!), otherwise it should work fine, and yes, it does contract very neatly into a thin "slab" for storage and transportation. Blue colour!

Hi,

You can buy this table from Orion:

But shipping to Singapore is not cheap.
