Hi folks,
here are the latest harvests from 17 to 20 August Mersing trip. Didn't image as many objects as before, but instead I dwell on longer exposure on the targets, hopefully to 'overwhelm' the images with more favourable signal to noise ratio. My latest modified 450D is able to achieved cooling close to the realm CCD cameras, hence I was pushing the camera on some targets with exposures for as long as up to 20 minutes. So here goes:
M8, M20, M21, NGC6559 (widefield)
Imaged with: AP Mach 1, Takahashi FSQ85, 0.73x Reducer, Modified Canon 450D, 4x5min , 6x20min ISO400
NGC6992 Eastern Veil Nebula
Imaged with: AP Mach 1, Orion Optics UK 8" Newt, Baader MPCC, Modified Canon 450D, 9x15min ISO400
M20 & M21
Imaged with: AP Mach 1, Orion Optics UK 8" Newt, Baader MPCC, Modified Canon 450D, 10x15min ISO400
NGC869 & NGC884 Perseus Double Cluster
Imaged with: AP Mach 1, Orion Optics UK 8" Newt, Baader MPCC, Modified Canon 450D, 10x10min ISO400

Hi,
WOW!! Nice...
I miss the double cluster, but I doubt I can see it now in my current obs location due to the building in front....
Have a nice day.
