Hi James,

For E$20, it is worth the wait if you are not in a hurry.

I heard that the contrast is superb. In comparison to the Thousand Oak glass filter, how is the wedge view through the eyepiece?

Last Saturday as I just try to do a simple setup from the Sun which is setting in the West, with my C6R , I don't see any big difference from the thousand oak glass filter which I have been using previously....
The color is also white light, and this just not make the contrast stand out as compared to the orange color type....
Except when I increased the magnification of my zoom ep to 8mm, the sunspots surface detail is clearer than what the thousand oak glass type can provide....

Hopefully this Saturday weather is sunny and not cloudy, will setup my scope with this Lunt solar wedge, at Toa Payoh Library outside open area....
All are welcome....

Hi All...

Just received my 2nd purchased from APM, Germany, the shipment of the Baader Solar Continuum Filter, 1.25"....

Shipment is really very erratic?

1st shipment for the lunt solar wedge took two and a half weeks to reach me.....

But this 2nd shipment, only one week......

BTW, the 152 APM ED APO will be shipped out from Germany next week, and hope it will be just on time for Gary's 8th Dec 2012 2nd talk cum night gazing activities.....

Currently this OTA is on its way from the recent Tucson astronomy Show, shipping back to APM Germany, as there are no one want to take this offer....
So I decided to take up this offer, coz it will save me 3mths of waiting time...
