CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!
"The importance of a telescope is not how big it is, how well made it is.
It is how many people, less fortunate than you, got to look through it."
-- John Dobson.
Thanks for your kind comment.
Yes, I joined Tasos two years ago.
I am still a beginner and must say thanks to those veterans who had taught and guided me.

Thank you for the supportive comments. Glad to share.
Astrisiao,
One look at your gears would convince anyone you no infant.
In fact I would be delighted to have a chance to peek through your big eye to the sky.
Kah Wai,
These galaxies are pretty small and rather dim.
However , from what I read, in clear and dark sky condition you should be able to see the distinct gray oval of M65 and M66 through a small telescope.
Sadly, in Singapore light polluted sky, I think it is not easy to spot them.
Anyway hope you and your kids will be lucky enough to see them.
