For those who don't know, we actually have a Singaporen who will be 'working' at NASA to assist in the Mars Rover mission.
Maybe we should invite Tan Wei Lin to join SingAstro. She owns a skywatcher after all.

mmm...from the description, her profile fits a typical TASOSian, so I very much doubt she would even show any interest joining us but of course, I could be wrong...so who is going to invite her?chrisyeo wrote:http://www.redrovergoestomars.org/pr20031006.html

nonetheless, that a Singaporean was selected amongst 4 billion people to be part of the Mars Rover project should be something we should be proud of...now let me send her an email asking her to use Spirit's arm to etch the words "Singapore" on Martian sand! heh heh

Re: Our own 'astronaut'
Hello! I feel really silly replying to a post from 2004, but just wanted to say that I finally found my way here 9 years late (and definitely not a TASOSian) ;-) (well, I was on the yahoo group for ages but I don't think that counts.)
