Mersing Trip Astro Images

Post by weixing »

Hi,
I have taken a few image on the Milky Way (Scorpius area) using Nikon CoolPix 4500 piggy back on my 6" F5 Newtonian. I have process two of the better one... still too much noise (forgot to take a dark frame :P) and my photoshop skill is not very good.. :( .

Anyway, both use similar setting. The Milky Way (Scorpius area) Wide View image is taken with no zoom. The larger Scorpius area image is taken with 2x Tele-Converter (I think so :( ) and 2x optical zoom.

Below are the basic setting for both images.

METERING : SPOT
MODE : M
SHUTTER : around 60 sec
EXP +/- : 0.0
IMG ADJUST : STANDARD
SENSITIVITY : ISO400
WHITEBAL : SUNNY
SHARPNESS : OFF

Have a nice day.
