Hi,
I just download a program to enable the Nikon CoolPix 4500 RAW mode, but before I try it, I would like to ask what is the different between the RAW mode and the TIFF mode (No compression)?? What is the advantage of the RAW mode over the TIFF un-compression mode??
Thanks and have a nice day.

ok, skip the tiff mode. most useless mode in any digicam ever made. raw allows alot more. by shooting raw, u can adjust white balance after u have taken the pic. and also underexposed pics usually can be salvaged if they are only abt 1-2stop underexposed. if u shoot in jpeg or tiff, u cannot do either perfectly.
go do a quick search on clubsnap, lots of info on it.
