March Mersing Astrophotos

Post by cataclysm »

Hi folks, here are the recent astrophotos from mersing. The sky conditions were not that ideal for both nights, plagued with poor transparency due to clouds. So I just tried to made good the data that I had collected.

Astonishing visuals! Achieving such results in less-than-ideal sky conditions is the mark of a true pro.

Hi Richard, it was the view through Gavin's scope that inspired me to capture this object. :P

Excellent images, Kelvin! Sharp and high contrast. Yup, thanks for imaging M46 and NGC2438 (dubbed "The Smoke Ring Nebula") for us. Now we know what the planetary looks like in full colour.
