- Near Boon Lay MRT / Bus Interchange. From there, walk towards Jurong Central Park direction.
- Free car-parking right at the observation site and power supply for telescope volunteers. The cash-card deduction at entrance will be reimbursed on that night.
- Telescope volunteers who are keen to participate, please PM or email me at gary[at]astro.sg.
- Carpark is just below the observation spot. Just take a lift up. Easy to transport big telescopes with a trolley.
- Car parking fees for public - $1.66 (SAFRA members), $3.45 (non-members). From 6:00pm onward.
- We can stay there at least up to 3:00am the next morning.
- Function room for the talk can easily accommodate 60 pax and if need be, slide off the partition to accommodate more and project the presentation on 2 big screens at the same time.
- Thanks to the publicity and marketing prowess of SAFRA, response has been great so far base on the phone queries and sign-ups as of today. This is a free event with no pre-registration required. So last minute walk-in crowd are most welcomed too.
- The observatory-class 14-inch diameter Celestron C14 will be there among other telescopes of various design and sizes!
- If you have the time, do consider bringing your family and friends there earlier and enjoy the club facilities there. Mahjong at a private games room anyone?

My friends staying in the west and north-west have been very supportive of promoting stargazing awareness in Toa Payoh/Bishan over the years. It's about time for us to return them a small favour.
