Complete Solar System Portrait

Finally, after some years, I have finally finished my Solar System portrait:



The last planet was Mercury, and the most recent trip to Mersing afforded me one day which was clear at the horizon at sunrise. I was ecstatic when Mercury finally slipped into the chip of my camera that morning! Details of the individual shots:

1. Sun - shot with PST and DMK41 from Singapore during Venus transit 2012

2. Mercury - shot with C8 EdgeHD and ASI120MM from Mersing in August 2013

3. Venus - shot with C11 and DBK21 from Singapore in January 2012

4. Moon - shot with SV80 with 500D from Singapore during lunar eclipse 2011

5. Mars - shot with C11 and DBK21 from Singapore in January 2012

6. Jupiter - shot with C11 and DBK21 from Singapore in January 2012

7. Saturn - shot with C11 and ASI120MM from Singapore in April 2013

8. Uranus - shot with Mewlon 250 and ASI120MM from Singapore in July 2013

9. Neptune - shot with Mewlon 250 and ASI120MM from Singapore in July 2013

As a "purist", I consider the collection complete when Pluto is in the Portrait
But a really great effort. Have not had anyone declare a Solar System Collection so far. Most have been on the Messier catalogue.

ps..if you take a photo of Singapore, we can consider that as "Earth"...;)
