Keep the group buying momentum going! :)

This is another highly recommended atlas that can be used on field and/or improve you hunting and recognition of the treasures in the sky:

Pocket Sky Atlas
http://www.amazon.com/Sky-Telescopes-Po ... 1931559317

Check out the preview pages in the Amazon link and see if you guys like it. Available at Takashimaya Kinokuniya.

Already got my copy a few years ago. Anyone interested can take the lead and start a new thread for this atlas. :)

You are welcomed! I am glad that you guys have been understanding over the slight dent at the corner of the books due to the packaging issue with Amazon.

This book is generally heavier and bigger than average. Especially the hardcover version.

Thanks for the feedback about Amazon packaging for this particular shipment. Those who are extremely fussy about sharp corners and mint condition may want to look elsewhere (e.g. physical copies at Kinokuniya Takashimaya) and pay a higher price for that extra satisfaction.

In either case, it does not diminish the value of the book content and the knowledge to be gained within.

Byang - Thanks again for your effort. Book was in excellent condition by my standards.

I am happy to report that I have glanced thru last night over an hour or so. (Diagrams and pictures only) I liked the equipments page describing the various types of telescopes and lens arrangements best. All the typical designs in just one diagram. Pg. 37 to be exact. Being used to binos only, it was great info.

The "finding your way around the sky" section, Pg 212 was also good. I liked how they explained the differences of how the stars moved when one is located along the equator instead of in the north/south hemispheres.

Happy reading all. Hope you guys can organize another order for those interested.
